Always buy maternity wear in your pre-pregnancy size. Your expanding bump has been taken into account in the design, so you needn’t go up a size.
On our jeans and trousers, look out for clever jersey panels, expandable waists and deep stretch waistbands.
On our tops and dresses, choose from wrap-style, side-ruched, empire line or simply cut to fit your shoulders while flaring out over your bump

- If you hate the feel of a waistband around your bump, choose below-the-bump and low-rise jeans or trousers.
- Stylish dresses are an easy work wear option, and can be dressed up with heels and accessories or down with flats and leggings
- Mum’s to be feel the heat, so go for natural fabrics, like cotton, that allow your skin to breathe. Make use of layers so you can shed a pashmina or cardi when your temperature starts to rise.
- Use your pre-pregnancy accessories to stamp your personality on any outfit.
- Don’t be tempted to wear non-maternity dresses in large sizes. The front hemline will ride up, while the back sags.
- Create a capsule wardrobe – a few single garments can create lots of different looks.
